Leslie is a native of Greensboro. She graduated from Greensboro College with a degree in Business Administration and Economics. She also graduated from the Fashion Institute of Technology in New York City with a degree in Merchandising. Leslie worked for Polo Ralph Lauren for two years as an account specialist. She is married with one daughter. She come form a long standing real estate background. Her mother, sister and aunt are all licensed REALTORs.
